I learned to know and love JF (whom most of you know as "Harwood," I think) because I was a lodger at 9 Redston Road several times while on teaching duty in London. To this honor I owe all thanks to Brigitte, who first welcomed me into her home and is also one of my best of friends.
JF and I used to lament the separation of the Colonies from Mother England. Outside of my incorrect pronouncing of “sauce,” he accepted this renegade. He had an enormous impact on my life, not only in the things he taught me but by who he was—and is—in my heart. More I could say, but I best close by quoting JF: “There it all is.”
